As I was getting up this morning, I didn’t lift my foot high enough and tripped on the step coming from our bedroom to galley… and almost fell but I caught the cupboard with my left arm .. holy moly it hurts , seems I’ve pulled some tendons in my elbow crease up to my shoulder but hurts the most right in the elbow and can’t lift it up … oh its horrid …. Now I have two stuffed knees and two crook arms … shit …
Oh my early start *the boys* are coming out to help bring the boat in to shore to clean the bottom on low tide ….its 9am and we are tied up waiting now for the tide to go out … its another hour to high tide .. then it goes out quick around here …so here I sit … and then other boat has come up alongside us and they are cleaning their hull too … another friend Rick so planning to beach his boat too and cleaning while we are at it … not many pics being taken as we all forget to bring our phones on deck ..
Its 1:46pm NT time Sunday … and I want to cry … the brilliant air con stopped going … because the generator packed a sad … it happened twice this morning when we got up … seems it’s a little clogged … I sat and roasted down in the galley while they went to town to get a generator from sel … I went to the bedroom and roasted in there for a bit till coming sitting in the galley again .. I could not keep my eyes open … and so I sat … then they came back with the new generator and its all working now … and so the scraping began and I went to bed and slept again … then hubby said he had a shade cloth above for me so I went up … got horribly hot and chose to come back down …so here I sit …
Graham comes and I start to cry when he asked if I was ok … I don’t want to do this any more …but I surely don’t want dad to give up his dream for me …
I just want to cry …
So graham went back out and back to having fun and helping and I went back to the bed … slept again … then woke to no sounds , at about 4pm … I sat alone for a while then keith came in … and I just about bawled all over him , I couldn’t keep it back … he said he was sorry and I was too … but we are carrying forward and continuing through … I was hoping I’d have internet to find a ticket to back home but I can’t leave my hubby alone to do this with graham , so we are continuing on …
Keith has gone ashore again to shower change and do some washing and getting some takeaway dinners from the boat club before he comes back for the night ..
